How To Link to a Specific Part of Your Squarespace Webpage

I was answering an inquiry this morning about pricing. I decided that instead of creating a back an forth email string, I would just send the inquirer to my website so they can research on their own. But I wanted to link to a specific part of my website, the A-La-Carte Pricing section to be exact.

I thought this would be a perfect Squarespace tutorial to add to my collection, so here we go. First, scroll down to the section of the webpage you want to link to. Right click on the first thing you want to scroll to, and click inspect element. For me, it was the A LA CARTE header.

In the inspector section, you are looking for a specific div id that is called a #block-yui number. In my situation it is #block-yui_3_17_2_56_1443462445717_139817.

When you hover your mouse over the #block-yui number, the section you want to link to should be highlighted. Right click on this number and select Copy Unique Selector. From there, you should be able to add it to the end of the page url, so yourwebsite.com/page/#block-yui_XXX . Mine was on my design services page, so the full link is http://creativetypea.com/graphic-design-services/#block-yui_3_17_2_56_1443462445717_139817
